Financial Fitness Seminar with Work-Life Harmony

          The Kanara Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) in Mangaluru organized a Seminar on Financial Fitness with a focus on Work-Life Harmony on 19th Jan 2024. The event took place at the Meeting Hall, KCCI Chamber Building. The program commenced highlighting the journey of KCCI through a video, followed by a warm welcome address from CA Ananthesh V. Prabhu, President of KCCI. The first session was about “Empower – Mastering Financial Strategies for Women Entrepreneurs” by Ms Sapna Shenoy, Investment Services Professional. In this session, she provided comprehensive insights into financial strategies tailored for women entrepreneurs. The second session was about “Work-Life Balance” by Dr. Supriya Hegde Aroor, Professor and HOD, FMMC Consultant Psychiatrist, Arogya Polyclinic who dealt into the critical aspect of work-life balance. Likely, she discussed practical strategies, coping mechanisms and the importance of mental well-being in achieving harmony between professional and personal life. Ms Harina Rao, Past President of DSIAM Women’s Wing, Present Chairperson of DSIAM – STRIVE and Ms Shirly Cutinha Executive Director, Provit Foods Pvt. Ltd. This interactive panel discussion brought together accomplished professionals from diverse fields. Dr. Vindhya Pai, Ms. Harina Rao, and Ms. Shirly Cutinha shared their expertise and perspectives, discussing challenges, success stories and offering valuable advice on various aspects related to entrepreneurship, women’s leadership and industry insights. The seminar saw active participation from six faculty members of PAFGC - Ms Deepti Udyavar, Ms Delcy D Souza, Ms Ramyashree, Ms Muneera, Ms Anfha Nishad and Ms Janyashree. Additionally, students and women entrepreneurs enriched the program with their presence. The insightful sessions concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Ashwin Pai Maroor, Hon. Secretary of KCCI. The seminar proved to be a valuable platform for learning and discussion, fostering financial empowerment and work-life balance in the local business community
