Observation of World Aids Day

         On behalf of world AIDS Day, PAFGC in association with IQAC, YRC and NSS conducted essay competition on the topic “Step against Aids- Save Thousand Lives” on 1 st Dec, 2023. Thirteen students from various disciplines actively participated in the competition. Mr. Hamad Basheer, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Commerce and Management coordinated the Competition. He delivered a short speech on what is aids and how to prevent ourselves from getting effected by HIV. The three main ways that HIV is known to be transmitted: Sexual intercourse, blood to blood contact and infected Mother to unborn baby had been explained in detail along with preventive measures. Ms. Ithashree and Ms. Chaithra NV, Assistant Professors, Dept. of Commerce & Management and NSS program officers were present on the occasion.
