Industrial visit to Campco Chocolate Factory, Puttur

           On November 25, 2023, a group of 50 final-year and second-year BSc (FND and FT) students, accompanied by 3 staff members, undertook a significant industrial visit to the renowned Campco Chocolate Factory in Puttur. The primary objective of this visit was to provide students with practical exposure to the chocolate production processes and offer insights into the operational dynamics of a leading chocolate manufacturing facility. Asst. Professors, Ms. Gopika, Ms. Krithika, and Ms. Anfha Nishad accompanied the students, ensuring a smooth and enriching experience during the visit. Insights into Operations: The Production Supervisors shared comprehensive information about Campco's involvement in supplying by-products to other companies. This discussion shed light on the company's role in contributing to the larger industrial ecosystem. Topics covered included recruitment, turnover, and dividend rate policies, offering students a holistic view of the company's corporate practices. The industrial visit to Campco Chocolate Factory proved to be an exceptionally informative and engaging experience for both students and staff. Beyond deepening their understanding of chocolate production processes, the visit provided valuable insights into the broader aspects of the company's operations and corporate practices.
