OATH- TAKING CEREMONY ON ACCOUNT OF NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY

          On 28 February, 2025, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in association with Nutritionora Association conducted a collage making competition on account of National Science day. The competition was held in Seminar Hall 2, aimed to emphasize the theme of Live with Nature. The competition was not only a celebration of the role of science in promoting a sustainable lifestyle but also a creative avenue for participants to explore the relationship between humans and nature through the medium of visual art. National Science Day serves as a reminder of the significant contributions of science in improving lives, and this event was designed to reflect that by encouraging participants to think critically and artistically about how humans can live harmoniously with nature. The theme Live with Nature called for an exploration of the interconnectedness between human life and the natural environment. Participants were encouraged to visually interpret how scientific advancements can promote a better coexistence with the Earth’s ecosystems, reduce human impact on the environment, and advocate for a balance between development and conservation. The Collage Making Competition attracted a large number of students from various disciplines, who exhibited their artistic flair and scientific understanding. 4 teams were participated in the competition. The event was structured to encourage creativity, and students were provided with an assortment of materials, including magazines, newspapers, colour paper, scissors, glue, and other craft supplies. The task was to create a collage that best captured the essence of the theme while effectively conveying the importance of living sustainably and in harmony with nature. The first place was secured by Ms. Sana Mariyam and Liyana Mariam from 1st year B.Sc( FND) and second place was secured by Ms. Mariyamma Mifrah and Mezna Manal from 3 rd year B.Sc (FND). The Competetion was coordinated by Ms.Sreelakshmi.S, Assistant Professor, Dept.of Food Sciences.
