Research Methodology Workshop

            The Canara College, Mangalore, organized a two-day Workshop on Research Methodologies on February 28, 2025, and March 1, 2025. The workshop was designed to equip participants with essential knowledge and skills necessary for conducting high- quality research and publishing papers in reputable journals. The event aimed to provide valuable insights into research methodologies across various domains. The workshop was intended to enhance the participants' understanding of the systematic process of conducting research, the importance of proper research design, data collection techniques, analysis, and reporting findings. Additionally, the event emphasized the critical role that research plays in advancing academic and professional knowledge. The sessions were engaging, with expert speakers sharing their knowledge and experiences in research methodologies. The participants gained an in-depth understanding of research design, qualitative and quantitative research methods, data analysis techniques, and the significance of academic publishing. The workshop also covered key topics such as literature review techniques, ethical considerations in research, and the various types of research papers. The workshop was attended by two faculty members from the BCA Department, Mr. Sachin Giri and Ms. Jayalakshmi, both of whom found the sessions highly informative and beneficial. They appreciated the opportunity to learn about the latest trends and techniques in research methodology and expressed eagerness to apply the insights gained to their future research projects. Overall, the workshop was a highly successful and enriching experience, providing participants with valuable tools and knowledge to enhance their research endeavors and academic contributions.
