Paper presentation at national level conference by Ms Muneera

             Ms. Muneera, Assistant Professor in English, presented a paper on "Deconstructing GenderStereotypes in Cinema and Literature"at the two-day national conference on "Gender Equity: AMust for Sustainability" organized by the UGC Centre for Women Studies, Mangalore University.The conference, held on 3rd and 4th February 2025, brought together scholars and experts fromacross the country to discuss and deliberate on issues related to gender equity and sustainability.Ms. Muneera's paper explored the representation of women in cinema and literature, highlightingthe need to challenge and subvert traditional gender stereotypes. The conference was a significantstep towards promoting gender equity and sustainability.
