NATIONAL LEVEL CONFERENCE ON “DEVELOPING SKILLS FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE- ENHANCING EMPLOYABILITY” AT PADUA COLLEGE OF COMMERCE AND MANAGEMENT, MANGALORE

                 On 29 October 2024, Mr. Ayman Basheer, Mr. Shafeem Moosa from 3rd year BBA and Mr. Jishan from 3rd year BCA along with Ms. Gopika & Ms. Sreelakshmi, Asst. Professors, PAFGC attended a National Level Conference on “Developing Skills for a Sustainable Future- Enhancing Employability” at Padua College of Commerce and Management, Nanthur, Mangalore. The first technical session was handled by Dr. Preethi K DSouza on the topic “Dexterity Design amongst Knowledge Workers”. And the other session was handled by Rev. Dr. Henry D’Almeida on the topic “Skills in Education: Indian Spiritual Pespectives. The sessions were interesting and informative. The program concluded at 4 pm. The objective of the conference to foster a culture of sustainability and employability: Bring together stakeholders from academia to discuss the importance of developing skills for a sustainable future and enhancing employability, identify key skills for a sustainable future: Explore the essential skills required for a sustainable future, including critical thinking, creativity, innovation, and problem-solving, enhance employability through skill development: Discuss strategies for enhancing employability through skill development, including vocational training, apprenticeships, and lifelong learning. The sessions were helped to identify key skills required for a sustainable future, developed strategies for enhancing employability through skill development, showcased best practices in skill development and share successful initiatives. It also helped to think creatively about sustainable solutions and encourage entrepreneurship and innovation
