Hindi Diwas Competition

       On 25 September 2024, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Literary Association jointly organized Hindi Pick & Speak competition to commemorate Hindi Diwas. The event began at 2:15p.m. Ms. Noorjahan Begum, Head- Department of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS), inaugurated the competition. She emphasized the significance of Hindi language and Hindi Diwas, highlighting its importance in promoting cultural unity and national integration. 10 students from various departments participated enthusiastically in the competition, showcasing their knowledge and talents. Ms. Anfah Nishad, Asst. Professor, Department of Food Sciences and Mr. Lohith V, Asst. Professor, Department of HSS served as judges, evaluating participant’s oratory skills and creativity. Ms. Sara and Mr. Sameer, Asst. Professors in Kannada, were also present to support the event. The competition was successfully conducted by Ms. Shreyanka M, Asst. Professor in Hindi. The event witnessed exceptional public speaking skills, confidence, and creativity among participants. The winners will be announced separately, and prizes will be awarded accordingly. The Hindi Pick & Speak competition reinforced the importance of promoting Hindi language and culture, fostering national unity and pride.
