Participation in KCCI Startup Seminar

          On 16 November 2024, a group of ten students from P.A. First Grade College, including two student volunteers, along with Ms. Shreyanka M, Assistant Professor in Hindi, and Ms. Fathimath Azweena, Assistant Professor Department of Computer Applications, attended a seminar titled "Enabling Startups: Roles of Industry, Academia, and Government" and "Silicon Beach Program: Building Our Future While Preserving Our Culture Without Destroying Our Nature." The event, organized by the Kanara Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) Mangaluru , from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM. The seminar focused on the intersection of industry, academia, and government in fostering startup ecosystems, as well as the importance of sustainable development in technology and innovation. Experts from various fields discussed the roles of each sector in supporting startups and explored the significance of balancing progress with cultural preservation and environmental conservation. This event provided valuable insights for the students, enriching their understanding of contemporary issues in business, technology, and sustainability, which will support their academic and professional growth.
