The Workshop on Cyber Security: A Hacker’s Perspective

           IQAC, in association with the Department of Computer Applications and the IT Association, organized a five-day workshop titled "Cyber Security: A Hacker’s Perspective" from 4th to 8th November 2024, coordinated by Ms. Fathimath Azweena, Assistant Professor, Dept of Computer Applications. The workshop aimed to deepen student’s understanding of cyber security, focusing on threats and defensive measures. The first two days were led by Mr. Altaf Hussain, a Cyber Security Expert, who introduced ethical hacking and key tactics. Dr. G Harikrishnan, Vice Principal, continued the workshop, offering advanced insights into cyber security practices. The valedictory ceremony, held on 8th November, featured remarks from Mr. Altaf Hussain, Dr. Surfraz J. Hasim Principal, and Dr.G.Harikrishnan. Mr. Altaf Hussain encouraged participants to continue exploring cyber security, while Dr. Surfraz J. Hasim emphasized the importance of cyber security awareness in academic institutions. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Zulfa Rukiya, a second-year BCA student, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty members, and participants.
