ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION ON ACCOUNT OF NATIONAL CONSTITUTION DAY

         On 25 November 2024, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in collaboration with the Human Rights Association, organized an essay writing competition on the topic "The Role of the Indian Constitution in Shaping Modern India." This event was held in commemoration of National Constitution Day, observed on November 26. The primary objective of the competition was to foster awareness about the Indian Constitution’s significance and its instrumental role in the development and governance of modern India. Students from various disciplines participated, showcasing their knowledge and understanding of the Constitution's role in shaping the nation's values, laws, and societal structure. The competition was held in Seminar hall 2 at 3.00 pm. Following the competition, a solemn ceremony was conducted, where Dr. Surfraz J. Hasim, Principal, P.A. First Grade College, Dr. Harikrishnan, Vice Principal, along with the teaching staff and students of the college, gathered to read the Preamble to the Indian Constitution aloud. This collective reading emphasized the importance of upholding the Constitution’s values and principles and reaffirmed the commitment to fostering an inclusive and just society. In English language the first place was secured by Ms. Ayshathun Naja from 1st year B.Sc ( FND) second place was secured by Mr. Mohammed Farhan from 1st year B.Com and 3rd place was secured by Mr. Mohammed Ayman Basheer from 3rd year BBA A. In Hindi language the first place was secured by Mr. Jishan from 3rd year BCA. The programme was coordinated by Mr. Lohith V, Assistant Professor, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences. This event successfully highlighted the importance of the Indian Constitution and its vital contribution to shaping modern India, promoting both awareness and pride in our democratic heritage.
