Inauguration of Public Speaking Club

            PA First Grade College launched its Public speaking club (psc) on 25 September 2024, in the multipurpose hall. The club aims to Nurture effective communication Skills among students. The inaugural program commenced With a prayer by mr. Shaukath from 1st year bcom. Ms. Thasmiya from 1st Year b.Sc (fnd) extended a warm Welcome to the dignitaries and Attendees. Mr. Mohammed faizal, head- cpod highlighted the industry’s expectations From graduates, emphasizing the crucial role of effective communication skills in Professional success. Psc coordinator ms muneera outlined the annual plan, Featuring debates, extempore speeches, storytelling sessions, and inter-college Competitions. Students expressed enthusiasm and expectations for the club’s Activities. Programme ended with the vote of thanks proposed by ms shazima from 1st Year b.Com and skillfully moderated by ms hiba maryam from 1st year bba. With this initiative, pa first grade college reaffirms its commitment to holistic Development, empowering students with essential skills for success. This inauguration marks the beginning of a promising journey for pa first grade College’s public speaking club. Dr. Alwyn vincent d’sa, registrar, St. Aloysius college (autonomous), Mangalore, graced the occasion as The chief guest. He emphasized The significance of public speaking, Introducing the “ask” theory - Attitude, skill, and knowledge. Dignitaries included dr. Surfraz j. Hasim, principal, dr. G. Harikrishnan, vice-principal, mr. Mohammed faizal, head - cpod, Ms. Vanishree, iqac coordinator, Ms sheethal, communication Trainer, cpod, and psc Coordinators. Dr. Surfraz j. Hashim, Principal delivered presidential Address and stressed the Importance of public speaking in Shaping students’ personalities and Careers. He encouraged students To actively participate in psc Activities.
