Essay Writing Competition on Account of International Day of Democracy

             On account of international day of Democracy, iqac in collaboration with the Human rights association conducted an Essay writing competition on the topic “democracy: importance and challenges in India” on 17 september 2024 in sf 47. The aim of the competition was to Encourage young minds to think critically About the significance and challenges of Democracy in india and to enhance Understanding of the various challenges Such as corruption, social inequality, and Freedom of expression. The competition Aimed to enhance participants writing Abilities and encourage effective Communication of ideas. Around 16 students participated in the Competition. The essay writing competition Was a resounding success and fulfilled its Objectives of raising awareness and Promoting critical thinking. The programme was coordinated by mr. Lohith v, assistant professor, department of Humanities and social sciences
