Awareness Programme On Account Of National Nutrition Week

         On 3 september 2024, as a part of national nutrition week, The internal quality assurance cell (iqac), in collaboration With the nutritionora association and the department of Food sciences, organized an awareness program. The Program aimed to educate students about the importance Of a nutritious diet, healthy lifestyle habits, and regular Physical activity. National nutrition week is observed from 1-7 september 2024, highlighting the importance of nutrition in Maintaining overall health and preventing diseases. By Dedicating a week to nutrition, it encouraged individuals to Reflect on their eating habits and make healthier choices, Potentially reducing the incidence of diet-related diseases Like obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions. Ms. Sana mariyam saji, ms. Mezna manal, ms. Mazeena n.M, Ms. Khadija sihana, ms. Ayshathul rayeeza, and ms. Aysha Luthfa naja from 3rd bsc (fnd) demonstrated leadership And expertise in promoting nutrition awareness. They Visited each classroom across various departments to raise Awareness. The awareness program was coordinated by ms. Sreelakshmi.S, assistant professor, department of food Sciences.
