             The partition horrors remembrance day was solemnly Observed by the iqac in association with the nss unit of p.A. First grade college on 14 august 2024 at 3:30 pm in seminar Hall-2. The event was organized to reflect on the tragic Memories of the partition and to honor those who suffered During this tumultuous period in history. The program was Attended by 65 students, along with faculty members and Distinguished guests. Ms. Ithashree m, nss program officer, Initiated the event by extending a warm welcome to the Gathering. The guest speaker, capt. Rudresh, campus Supervisor, shared his poignant experiences, which were both Insightful and moving, providing a personal perspective on the Horrors faced by millions during the partition. Following capt. Rudresh's address, mr. Lohith, assistant professor, department Of hss, spoke about the importance of observing partition Horrors remembrance day. A moment of silent prayer was Observed for those who lost their lives during the partition. Dr. Sayyad ameen ahammad, dean (sa) & director, cmsr, Provided a broader context of the partition, linking it to Relevant issues in the present era. Dr. Surfraz j. Hasim, principal Delivered the presidential remarks. Mr. Arif, assistant professor, Department of commerce and management, proposed the Vote of thanks, while ms. Chaithra n.V, nss program officer, Flawlessly compered the program. The partition horrors Remembrance day program was a significant event that not Only honored the memory of those affected by the partition but Also served as a reminder of the enduring importance of peace, Unity, and mutual respect in society.
