Orientation Day: Beginning of A New Academic Journey

              On 12 august 2024, pa first grade college Welcomed its new batch of first-year Students on orientation day, marking the Beginning of their academic journey. The Event aimed to acquaint students with the College's vision, rules, and support system. The program commenced with a prayer Led by mr. Ashik, a second-year bba Student, followed by a warm welcome Address by dr. G harikrishnan, vice Principal. Dr. Ramis mk, principal, pace, Graced the occasion as the chief guest and Delivered a keynote address, emphasizing The importance of embracing curiosity and Lifelong learning, developing critical Thinking and problem-solving skills, Building strong relationships with peers And faculty members, exploring Opportunities for growth and development Dr. Ramis mk also encouraged students to Be proactive, take risks, and strive for Excellence in their pursuits. Dr. Surfraz j hasim, principal delivered presidential remarks, emphasizing the Significance of this new academic chapter. Additionally, he stressed the importance Of forgiveness, gratitude, and unconditional love in personal and professional growth. Mr. Sharath venugopal, regional head- business relationship, and ms. Nanda devi, Manager, isdc addressed the students, sharing valuable insights and advice on Navigating their academic and professional careers. The campus rules and regulations were presented by dr. Sayyed ameen, dean (student affairs) and director, cmsr, and elaborated by ms. Deepthi udyavar, headdept, of commerce and management and ms. Sunitha, assistant professor in Malayalam. The class guides and mentors were introduced to the students, who will be providing Support and guidance to the students throughout their academic journey. Dignitaries on the dais included mr. Sharfuddin pk, agm- campus, dr. Saleemulla Khan, principal, pacp, prof. Kp soofie, principal, papt, mr. Haris td, purchase Manager, paet, ms. Shafinaz sayyed ismail, admission officer, paet, dr. Iqbal, Campus manager and physical director, pace, ms. Vanishree, iqac coordinator, and Ms. Noorjahan begum, head- department of humanities and social sciences. The program was skillfully moderated by ms. Laveena d'souza, assistant professor in English, and ms. Anfa nishad, assistant professor, department of food sciences. With this orientation day, pa first grade college has set the stage for a promising Academic year, empowering its students to succeed and thrive.
