Vigilance Awareness Week: 'Say No to Corruption'

In association with the Internal QualityrnAssurance Cell (IQAC) and the HumanrnRights Association, P.A. First Grade Collegernobserved Vigilance Awareness Week with arnfocus on the theme "Say No to Corruption:rnCommit to the Nation." The initiative aimedrnto raise public awareness about corruptionrnand foster a corruption-free workingrnenvironment. The awareness program wasrnlaunched on November 2, 2023, coincidingrnwith Kannada Rajyotsava, in thernMultipurpose Hall.Event Highlights:Theme: The theme "Say No to Corruption:rnCommit to the Nation" was chosen tornemphasize the collective responsibility inrnthe fight against corruption.Awareness Program: Staff and studentrncoordinators actively participated in thernawareness program, visiting all classes,rnincluding first years, second years, andrnthird years. The primary goal was torncreate awareness among the students.  Beneficiaries: Over 500 students werernbenefited from the program, gainingrninsights into the detrimental effects ofrncorruption and the importance ofrnmaintaining ethical practices.Expansion to PA Polytechnic: OnrnNovember 3, 2023, the awarenessrnprogram extended to PA Polytechnic,rnreaching out to over 100 students.Program Execution:rnThe awareness program includedrninteractive sessions, discussions, andrninformative presentations highlightingrnthe adverse consequences ofrncorruption on society, governance, andrnthe nation as a whole. Strategies torncombat corruption and promoterntransparency were also discussed.The event aimed not only to raise awareness but also to inspire a collectiverncommitment to building a society free from the shackles of corruption. The success ofrnthe program is a testament to the college's dedication to nurturing responsible andrnethically conscious citizens.
