Botanical Excursion and World Nature Day Celebration

In celebration of World Nature Day, a one-dayrnBotanical Excursion was meticulously organizedrnby the Nature Club on October 3, 2023. The eventrnaimed to explore the rich plant species diversityrnwithin the PACE campus. Hon. Capt. Rudresh,rnthe Campus Supervisor, played a crucial role inrnguiding the students throughout the excursion.Excursion Highlights: The excursion primarilyrntargeted Nature Club students, providing themrnwith a unique opportunity to delve into thernfascinating world of local plant species. Underrnthe expert guidance of Mr. Rudresh, participantsrnwere introduced to a diverse range of plants,rnincluding medicinal species, cinnamon plants,rnpassion fruit plants, sandalwood plants, andrnmore.Educational Insights: Mr. Rudresh sharedrncomprehensive insights into the medicinalrnproperties of various plant species, emphasizingrnthe importance of factors such as location, soilrnconditions, economic significance, andrntemperature. He skillfully assisted students inrnidentifying trees by examining morphologicalrncharacteristics of leaves.
