Blood Donation Camp

Youth Red Cross, National Service Scheme & IQAC of P. A. First Grade College,rnMangalore in association with Red Cross Society Blood Bank, Government LadyrnGoschen Hospital, Mangaluru, organized a blood donation camp on 7 May 2024 at ELearning Centre. Dr. B. Sachidanandan Rai, Chairman, Sub Committee, Indian RedrnCross Society, DK Branch was invited as the Chief Guest. Mr. Praveen Kumar,rncoordinator and counsellor, Indian Red Cross Society, DK, Mr. Abbas Uchil, Former Salesrnand Marketing Manager, Eco Lab, KSA, were the guests of honor. The program presidedrnby Dr. Surfraz J Hasim, Principal, PAFGC. Dr. Ramis M.K, Principal, PACE, Dr. SaleemullarnKhan, Principal, PACP, Dr. Sayyed Ameen, Dean (Student Affairs) & Director-CMSRrngraced the occasion.The formal function began by invoking the blessings of the Almighty by Mr. Irfad fromrn2nd year BCA. Dr. B. Sachidanandan Rai, in his speech, highlighted the importance ofrnblood donation and congratulated P.A. First Grade College for the initiative. He alsornencouraged the students to take a larger part in such activities and programmes. Dr.rnSurfraz J Hasim, Principal, P.A. First Grade College delivered the presidential remarks.rnIQAC coordinator, Heads of various Departments, teaching and non- teaching staffrnmembers were present during the programme. Mr. Hamad Basheer, YRC ProgramrnOfficer, Ms. Ithashree, & Ms. Chaitra N.V, NSS Program Officers were the coordinators ofrnthe programme. Ms. Shafna Sherin from 2nd year BCA welcomed the gathering, whilernMr. Ibrahim Arfan from 2nd year BBA proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Salma Aifnarnfrom 2nd year B.Com compered the programme. Around 165 donors from PAFGC andrnSister Institutions were voluntarily donated the blood.
