On account of Talents Day, Greenaura in association withrnIQAC conducted Essay Writing Competition on 29 Aprilrn2024 in Seminar Hall 1. The topic for the competition wasrn“The Impact of Climate Change on Natural Habitats” arncritical topic in the context of ongoing climate change andrnits effects on ecosystems. The event aimed to engagernstudents on the pressing issue of global warming andrnencourage them to express their ideas and solutions.Total 5 students from various departments activelyrnparticipated in the competition. The coordinators of thernprogramme were Ms. Ashalatha & Ms. Saniya, Asst.rnProfessors, Dept. Food Sciences, and Ms. FathimathrnAzweena, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Computer Applications.Participants approached the topic from different angles,rnoffering a broad range of perspectives on how globalrnwarming affects natural habitats. The essays coveredrnissues such as the impact of rising temperatures onrnwildlife, the loss of biodiversity due to habitat destruction,rnand the effects of climate change on forest ecosystems.Ms. Gopika and Ms. Laveena DSouza, Asst. Professors inrnEnglish evaluated the submissions based on clarity ofrnexpression, relevance to the topic, & proper use ofrngrammar and style. The first place was secured by Mr.rnMohammed Ayman Basheer from 2nd year BBA and thernsecond place was secured by Mr. Sheik Saffan from 3rdrnyear BBA.
