Awareness Program on Sexual and Reproductive Health at PAFGC

On 15th March 2024 IQAC, NSS unit andrnDepartment of Food Sciences of PAFGC inrncollaboration with Yenepoya HomeopathicrnMedical College and Hospital organised anrnawareness session on Sexual andrnReproductive Health for the students in Elearning Centre. An awareness program aimedrnto educate the students about various aspectsrnof sexual and reproductive health, includingrncontraception, sexually transmitted infectionsrnand healthy relationships. The students wererndivided into various groups and had anrninteractive sessions with the speakers. The keyrnspeakers were Dr. Kiran S Kammar, Professorrnand Head, Department of Gynecology andrnObstetrics, Dr. Shashikanth B Kammar,rnAssociate Professor and NSS Program Officer,rnHead, Department of Forensic Medicine AndrnToxicology, Dr Jeenu Joseph, AssociaternProfessor and NSS Unit Member, Departmentrnof Forensic Medicine And Toxicology, and DrrnAshima Alex, Assistant Professor, Departmentrnof Gynecology and Obstetrics.The program commenced with an invocation of blessings by Mr. Mohammed IshanrnSheik from 3rd year BBA. Ms. Rabeeba Saniya of 3rd year FND warmly welcomed therngathering, while Ms. Ayshath Ayfuna of 3rd year FND extended the vote of thanks. Ms.rnKhadeejath Saniya of 3rd year FND skilfully compered the program. Above 160rnstudents participated in the program.The Sexual and Reproductive Health Awareness Program was successful in achievingrnits objectives of educating and empowering students to prioritize their sexual andrnreproductive health. Ms. Delcy Dsouza, Head- Department ofrnFood Sciences, Ms. Ithashree M and Ms.rnChaithra N V, Asst. Professors and NSSrnProgram officers and Ms. Krithika, Asst.rnProfessor, Department of Food Sciencesrnwere present during the occasion.
