DRAWING COMPETITION ON ZERO DISCRIMINATION DAY

On the occasion of Zero Discrimination Day, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) inrncollaboration with the Internal Complaints Committee organized a drawing competition on 1strnMarch 2024, in SF-44.The theme of the drawing competitionrnwas "Gender Discrimination". Participantsrnwere tasked with creating artworks thatrnshed light on various issues related torngender bias, inequality, stereotypes, orrnany aspect of discrimination based onrngender. The duration of the competitionrnwas set for one and half hours. Studentsrnactively participated in the competition,rnshowcasing their creativity and artisticrnskills. The drawings were evaluated basedrnon creativity, relevance to the theme,rnartistic skill and overall impact.The panels of judges were Ms Reshma K C, Asst.rnProfessor, Department of Commerce andrnManagement, Ms Ayshath Nafia, Asst. Professor,rnDepartment of Computer Applications and MsrnLaveena D Souza, Asst. Professor, Department ofrnHSS.The winners areFirst Place: Mr. Ayman Basheer, 2nd year BBASecond Place: Ms. Reshna Missriya, 1st year BScrnFND Third Place: Mr. Abdul Asmeel, 2nd year BBAEach winner demonstrated exceptionalrntalent in portraying the theme of genderrndiscrimination through their artwork. Theirrnpieces not only showcased artistic skill butrnalso effectively conveyed the importance ofrnaddressing gender-based discrimination inrnsociety. The event highlighted thernimportance of addressing discriminatoryrnpractices and promoting inclusivity withinrnour educational institution and society atrnlarge.rn
