Industrial visit - III BBA A Students

A group of 36 students of Final Year BBA A along with two faculty members of P. A. First Grade College were under industrial visit from 29 April 2024 to 9 May 2024. During this visit they visited 2 industries: the Dawar Footwear Industry, Delhi and the Parle Industry, Haryana. 0n 2 May 2024, they visited Darwar Footwear Industry and learnt many new things. They explained their manufacturing methods and taught the students about leather and the making of shoes. The workers were very friendly and very cooperative with the students. Mr. Rajeev Mishra, HR, presented the details of the company, where he stated that the Dawar group makes shoes for companies like Dune London Silver, etc. Also, he pointed out that many of the products are being exported, and they have around 175 crore turnover rate. They provided refreshments for the students. It was a wonderful experience for the students to gain knowledge from this factory. After the industrial visit, students embarked on an educational excursion to Delhi, immersing themselves in the rich tapestry of history, culture, and commerce that the city has to offer. On 3 May 2024, they visited Parle Industry at Haryana. There was an informative interaction with Ms. Hanisha, HR of the company. She explained the work process through a video presentation, and the students were also given the chance to go around the factory and look into the process of making biscuits. The factory produces three varieties of biscuits: Parle-G, Krack Jack, & Monaco. They had the opportunity to visit Haryana, known for its rich history, cultural heritage, and natural beauty. The students explored various aspects of the state, including its historic sites, cities, rural areas. The industrial visit in general was a combination of learning, & having fun.
