Faculty Development Program on ‘‘Leadership Skills’’

           IQAC in collaboration with ICT Academy, organized three days Faculty Development Program (FDP) on leadership skills. The program commenced on 28 May 2024 and concluded on 30 May 2024. The inaugural session was held on 28 May 2024, at the Multi Purpose Hall. The event began with a formal welcome and introduction of the esteemed guests and resource person, Ms. Arul Jothi A. P, Soft Skills Trainer, T&D, ICT Academy. The program witnessed the presence of Mr. Vignesh Shetty, Relationship Manager, ICT Academy. Dr. Sayyad Ameen Ahammed, Dean (Student Affairs) and Director– CMSR, Mr. Mohammed Faizal. N, Head- CPOD and Corporate Relations, Dr. G. Harikrishnan, VicePrincipal, PAFGC, & Ms. Vanishree, IQAC Coordinator were present during the inaugural ceremony. On 29 May 2024, the FDP continued with an array of activities aimed at further improving leadership skills and fostering an environment of active participation among the faculty members. The resource person, through engaging sessions encouraged faculty members to immerse themselves in various activities tailored to enhance their leadership abilities. On 30 May 2024, an in-depth discussion took place on various types of leadership, such as autocratic, democratic, transformational, transactional, and laissezfaire. The resource person touched upon how to identify one’s preferred leadership style and how to adapt it according to the team’s needs and organizational goals. The FDP wrapped up with a valedictory program on 30 May 2024. Reflections on achievements, certificate distribution, and commendation of faculty for their dedication marked the event's essence.
