Essay Writing Competition

          On account of Talents Day, Greenaura in association with IQAC conducted Essay Writing Competition on 29 April 2024 in Seminar Hall 1. The topic for the competition was “The Impact of Climate Change on Natural Habitats” a critical topic in the context of ongoing climate change and its effects on ecosystems. The event aimed to engage students on the pressing issue of global warming and encourage them to express their ideas and solutions. Total 5 students from various departments actively participated in the competition. The coordinators of the programme were Ms. Ashalatha & Ms. Saniya, Asst. Professors, Dept. Food Sciences, and Ms. Fathimath Azweena, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Computer Applications. Participants approached the topic from different angles, offering a broad range of perspectives on how global warming affects natural habitats. The essays covered issues such as the impact of rising temperatures on wildlife, the loss of biodiversity due to habitat destruction, and the effects of climate change on forest ecosystems. Ms. Gopika and Ms. Laveena DSouza, Asst. Professors in English evaluated the submissions based on clarity of expression, relevance to the topic, & proper use of grammar and style. The first place was secured by Mr. Mohammed Ayman Basheer from 2nd year BBA and the second place was secured by Mr. Sheik Saffan from 3rd year BBA
