New Food Product Development Competition

            IQAC in collaboration with Nutritionora Association orchestrated a stimulating event- New Food Product Development Presentation Competition on 22 April 2024 in Seminar Hall 2. Three teams participated in the competition, each team consists of two members. This arrangement ensured a diverse array of ideas and perspectives of participants. Ms. Sreelakshmi, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Food Sciences and Ms. Shreyanka, Asst. Professor, Department of HSS were the judges of the competition. Their roles were pivotal in evaluating the presentations based on several criteria, including the quality of the presentation, the novelty and creativity of the proposed food product idea, & its clarity and structure. To maintain a sense of urgency and efficiency, each team was allotted a strict time limit of 5 minutes to present their new food product concept. This constraint compelled participants to distill their ideas into a concise yet impactful presentation; highlighting key features and benefits of their proposed product. Ms. Anfha Nishad, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Food Sciences entrusted with the responsibility of coordination. Following rigorous evaluation and deliberation, the first prize was awarded to Ms. Fathima Thidil from 3rd year B.Sc (FND) and Mr. Sheikh Saffan from 3rd year BBA. The second prize was awarded to Ms. Fathima T.U and Ms. Kadeejath Saniya from 3rd year B.Sc (FND). Their presentation stood out for its innovative concept and relevance to the theme of the competition.
