START UP SURGE COMPETITION ON THE OCCASION OF WOMEN’S DAY

           The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in collaboration with the Rural Entrepreneurship/ Innovation & Incubation Cell and Women’s Cell organized a ‘Startup Surge Competition’ on 11th March 2024, on account of International Women’s Day. The event took place in the Seminar Hall 1. The primary objective of the competition was to drive the rapid growth and success of women led startups through targeted support, mentorship and access to resources and funding. Vol 3 .02 Quarterly Newsletter 25 START UP SURGE COMPETITION ON THE OCCASION OF WOMEN’S DAY Four teams (8 students) participated in the competition, each team comprising two members. The teams were tasked with presenting their new startup ideas within a 5 minutes time limit. Two judges presided over the event: Ms. Ashalatha, Asst. Professor, Department of Food Sciences and Mr. Mohammed Sali Asham, Asst. Professor, Department of Commerce and Management. The judging criteria primarily, focused on the quality of presentation, the uniqueness of ideas and the effectiveness of pitching.
