Poster Making Competition On National Science Day

             The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in collaboration with the Nutritionora Association organized a poster making competition on4th March, 2024, on behalf of National Science Day. The event took place in Seminar Hall 1. The primary objective of the competition was to raise awareness about the importance of recycling. Eight teams (16 students) participated in the competition, with each team comprising two members. The teams were tasked with creating posters that conveyed the significance of recycling in a visually appealing and informative manner. The theme for the competition was, "The Importance of Recycling". Two judges presided over the event: Ms. Kritika, Asst. Professor, Department of Food Sciences and Ms. Shreyanka, Asst. Professor, Department of HSS. The judging criteria included creativity, relevance to the theme, artistic skill, and overall impact of the posters. Both judges brought their expertise and impartial judgment to ensure a fair evaluation process.Each team was allotted a time limit of one hour to complete their posters. This timeframe challenged the participants to manage their time effectively and prioritize their ideas to produce highquality work within the given constraints. The competition fostered a sense of urgency and creativity among the teams, encouraging them to think innovatively and work collaboratively. Ms. Anfha Nishad, Asst. Professor, Department of Food Sciences was the coordinator for the event, overseeing the logistical arrangements and ensuring the smooth conduct of the competition. After an intense hour of creative endeavor, the judges carefully evaluated each poster based on the established criteria. They assessed the originality of ideas, the clarity of message, and the use of visual elements.
