Industrial Visit by Final Year BCA Students to Dawar Footwear Industry, Agra

They also addressed queries from the visitors, offering valuable perspectives on career opportunities within the leather industry and the company's future growth trajectory.The Industrial Visit by the final year BCA students accompanied by the two faculty members was held from 28th Feb to 8th Mar 2024.They visited Dawar Footwear Leather Industry located in Agra on 1st March2024. This industry was established in the year 2001. Dawar Footwear Leather Industry has emerged as a prominent player in the leather manufacturing sector, specializing in tanning industry eco-suitable tannery practices. It is the second largest apparel producer and exporter, accounts for 9.5% share of India’s total exports. . Vol 3 .02 Quarterly Newsletter 17 They introduced to the students regarding the Production Capacity and Workforce, Facilities and Compliance, Market Orientation, Supply Chain and Raw Materials, Leather Swatch Approval, Lab Testing, Internal Quality Control (Q.C.) and Cutting Section. The industrial visit to Dawar Footwear Industry concluded with an engaging interactive session facilitated by the company's Human Resources (HR) department.
