Industrial Visit by Final Year B.Com Students to Dawar Footwear Industry, Agra

          The final year B.Com students of P.A First Grade College along with two faculty members had been to the Industrial visit from 27th Feb to 7th Mar 2024. They visited, Dawar Footwear Industry, Agra, on 1st March2024. . The industry was established in the year 2001and it has emerged as a prominent player in the leather manufacturing sector, specializing in tanning industry eco-suitable tannery practices. It is the second largest apparel producer and exporter, accounts for 9.5% share of India’s total exports Vol 3 .02 Quarterly Newsletter 16 Industrial Visit by Final Year B.Com Students to Dawar Footwear Industry, Agra They introduced to the students regarding the Production Capacity and Workforce, Facilities and Compliance, Market Orientation, Supply Chain and Raw Materials, Leather Swatch Approval, Lab Testing, Internal Quality Control (Q.C.) and Cutting Section. The industrial visit to Dawar Footwear Industry concluded with an engaging interactive session facilitated by the company's Human Resources (HR) department. This session provided an opportunity for the visitors to gain deeper insights in to the company's culture, values, and human resource management practices.
