Excel Session at PAFGC

          Training Session on MS Excel for the Faculty Members was conducted by the IQAC of PAFGC on 20th Feb, 2024 by Mr. Muhammad Raafid and Ms. Azweena, Asst. Professors, Department of Computer Applications. The important topics covered are Introduction to MS Excel: An overview of the application, its uses, and benefits. Features of Excel: Detailed explanation of Excel’s features, including data organization, graphical tools, and formula-based calculations. Components of Worksheet: Understanding the basic components of an Excel worksheet, such as cells, rows, columns, and ranges. Shortcut Keys: Learning the shortcut keys to enhance speed and efficiency while working on Excel. Performing Calculations: Demonstrating how to perform calculations using Excel’s mathematical functions. Built-in Functions: Exploring Excel’s wide range of builtin functions for statistical, financial, and date/time calculations, among others. Practical Exercises: Hands-on exercises to apply the learned concepts and enhance understanding. The session was interactive and well-received by the faculty members. It provided them with valuable insights into using MS Excel effectively for their administrative and academic tasks. The practical exercises helped them understand the application’s functionalities in a better way and apply them in realworld scenarios.
